The Pardon Association of Canada (PAC) is an exclusive membership association. The objective of the Pardon Association of Canada is to provide a forum for legitimate Pardon and Waiver service providers in Canada to discuss concerns of the industry. PAC promotes honest, open and transparent business practices in an industry that has been unregulated for too long.
The Pardon Association of Canada was founded in September of 2011 by the National Pardon Centre and Pardons Canada, two of the leading and longest operating pardon services providers in Canada.
The lack of industry regulations and the nature of the transaction, has allowed companies to open their doors without even a basic knowledge of Canada’s pardon program. Since pardon services clients are typically one time clients there is little incentive for companies to provide quality service. As result, many pardon services companies focus heavily on sales and very little on pardons.
In contrast PAC members feel strongly about providing quality service. We know how a criminal record can affect your life and we want to help you get your lives back on track quickly.
In order to help improve customer service levels as well as improve the reputation of the pardon industry PAC provides a review service where complaints can be fielded. However, please keep in mind that we do not review complaints from non member companies.
If you have a complaint with a service provider that is not a member of the Pardon Association of Canada you should contact the Better Business Bureau or, in extreme case, the fraud investigation unit.
Please remember that no Pardon Service Provider is affiliated with the government and no association has been established to accredit the various companies in this industry. If you want a company you can trust go with a member of the Pardon Association of Canada.
